Court awards 10 years term to a drug paddler

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Apr, 2026) A court on Thursday sentenced a drug supplier to 10 years imprisonment and a fine of Rs125,000.0

The suspect was arrested by Dhamyal Police in May 2025 after being found with 2.28 kilograms of charas.

Chief Police Officer Syed Khalid Mahmood Hamdani praised the SSP Investigation and the police legal teams for their work, noting that all measures are being taken to eliminate the scourge of drugs from the district.

Police urged citizens to cooperate in reporting any drug-related activities to strengthen ongoing anti-narcotics efforts.
