CSS 2025 Exam: Recruitment on 327 posts

The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has released the details of the posts for CSS 2025 as it will complete the recruitment process on a total of 327 posts, including 191 new posts and 136 transferred posts from previous years

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Apr, 2026) The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has released the details of the posts for CSS 2025 as it will complete the recruitment process on a total of 327 posts, including 191 new posts and 136 transferred posts from previous years.

As many as 169 seats have been allocated for open merit (including general merit), 35 for women and 123 seats for minorities. Punjab has the highest number of 157 vacancies.

The FPSC local chapter sources said that 43 vacancies have been allocated for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 30 for Sindh Rural, 28 for Sindh Urban, 28 for Balochistan, 16 for former FATA, 7 seats for Azad Kashmir and a quota of 3 vacancies has been allocated for Gilgit-Baltistan.

Vacancies of Pakistan Administrative Service, Police Service of Pakistan, Foreign Service of Pakistan, Inland Revenue Service, Office Management Group and other services and groups are included. Provincial, regional, women, minority ratio was taken into account in the distribution of vacancies.

The quota system will be implemented according to the policy of the Establishment Division.

The final placement of the candidates will be based on merit position and the candidate's preferences, suitability by the commission, and domicile.
