CTO announces rewards for outstanding duty on Chand Raat

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Mar, 2026) Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Farhan Aslam has issued important directives regarding duty arrangements for Chand Raat and Eid-ul-Fitr, emphasizing strict monitoring and performance-based rewards for personnel to maintain smooth traffic flow.

He announced that officers and officials who demonstrate outstanding performance during Chand Raat and Eid will be given rewards and appreciation certificates. The CTO said the performance of all personnel will be closely monitored throughout the festive days.

Farhan Aslam highlighted that officials ensuring smooth traffic flow and providing immediate assistance to road users will be fully encouraged and recognized.

The CTO further warned that while good performance will be rewarded, negligence and carelessness will lead to departmental action.

He urged all traffic wardens to serve the public with dedication during Eid holidays and ensure maximum facilitation for citizens by maintaining smooth traffic flow across the city.
