Dacoit gang busted, two arrested

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Apr, 2026) Muzaffarabad police busted a notorious motorcycle lifter and dacoit gang besides recovering looted valuables from their possession during a crackdown here on Wednesday.

In line with special directives of the City Police Officer (CPO) Sadiq Ali Dogar, the police under the supervision SP Cantt Division Kainat Azhar, launched a special crackdown against criminals involved in motorcycle snatching and theft.

The police busted the notorious Muhammad Ali gang and arrested two members including the ring leader Muhammad Ali s/o Akhtar Ali and Zahid Ali s/o Rabnawaz.

The police also recovered looted valuables including six motorcycles, three mobile phones, mobile accessories, cash Rs 50,000 and illegal weapons from their possession by tracing various cases from them.

Further investigations were underway from the arrested criminals and more recoveries were expected from them, police sources added.
