DC Ayesha Rizwan reviews furniture market beautification project

ATTOCK, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Mar, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Ayesha Rizwan visited the city’s furniture market to review progress on the ongoing beautification project and directed officials to accelerate the pace of work.

During the visit, the deputy commissioner was accompanied by COMC Mirza Muzaffar Baig and other concerned officers. She inspected the development activities underway under the market’s beautification initiative and reviewed the quality and progress of the work.

The deputy commissioner instructed the authorities to speed up the project and ensure the installation of uniform-pattern tiles and shutters on all market buildings.

She emphasized that the modern development project should be completed at the earliest.

Speaking on the occasion, Rizwan said that beautification work was being carried out across the district in line with the vision of Maryam Nawaz.

She noted that the furniture market was one of the city’s major commercial hubs and its renovation would provide a better environment for both traders and citizens. The project, she added, would also further enhance the overall beauty of the city.
