DC chairs meeting on Shehbaz Sharif Park development

GUJRAT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Mar, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Noor-ul-Ain Qureshi chaired a meeting of the District Development Committee to review the provision of missing facilities and construction of new installations at Shehbaz Sharif Park.

During the meeting, officials gave a detailed briefing on ongoing and proposed measures to improve facilities in the park.

Plans for establishing a sports arena, library, control room, warehouse and guard room were discussed.

The participants also considered the construction of an executive toilet block for the public, provision of golf carts for senior citizens, and installation of an open-air gym and CCTV cameras.

Steps to improve electricity and water supply, as well as the sewerage and drainage system in the park, were also discussed.
