DC Chiniot reviews city beautification projects, orders faster completion

CHINIOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th May, 2026) Under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Ayesha Rizwan, an important review meeting on Wednesday was held to assess progress on ongoing city beautification schemes.

The meeting was attended by Administrator Wasiq Abbas Hurl, Assistant Senior Commissioner Officer Noman Zahid and officials from relevant departments.

During the meeting, officials gave a detailed briefing on development work under the Chowk Jhang Road to Bypass Beautification Scheme and the Furniture Market Beautification Scheme. Authorities informed the meeting that renovation, beautification, sanitation and infrastructure improvement work was continuing, although progress at some locations remained slow.

Expressing concern over delays in certain projects, Deputy Commissioner Ayesha Rizwan directed the concerned departments to immediately accelerate the pace of work and ensure timely completion of all ongoing schemes.

She said providing citizens with a clean and beautiful environment remained the district administration’s top priority and warned that no negligence or shortcomings would be tolerated.

The deputy commissioner instructed officials to complete all beautification projects by the end of the month while ensuring high-quality standards in execution.

She added that the development and beautification initiatives would not only enhance the city’s appearance but also help provide better facilities and amenities to residents.
