DC inaugurates renovated parks to enhance public recreation

LAYYAH, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Mar, 2026) Deputy Commissioner(DC) Asif Ali on Tuesday inaugurated the newly renovated Ladies Park,Fazal Jakharr Park and Jinnah Park,marking a significant milestone in improving public recreational facilities in the district.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Shabbir Ahmed,Chief Officer District Council Muhammad Faisal,Chief Officer Municipal Committee Shabana Rashid,President District Press Club Mohsin Adeel,Haji Ahsan Adeel and other officials.

During the visit,the DC inspected the upgraded facilities,including newly installed swings and grassy lawns and expressed satisfaction over the improvements.

Speaking on the occasion,he said the enhanced parks would provide citizens with a clean,healthy and pleasant environment for recreation.

He urged the public to maintain cleanliness and dispose of waste properly to preserve the parks’ beauty.

The DC Asif also directed the concerned authorities to ensure regular maintenance and cleanliness so that citizens can continue to benefit from the improved facilities.
