DC inspects Agri dept office

BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Apr, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Syed Hassan Raza paid a surprise visit to the office of the Assistant Director Agriculture (Extension) and conducted a detailed inspection of its various sections.

During the visit, he checked the attendance of officers and staff, and reviewed the attendance register along with other official records.

The DC closely examined the arrangement of files, execution of office work, and overall performance. He issued instructions to ensure transparency and efficiency in official matters. He also reviewed the cleanliness of the office and directed that the sanitation system be further improved to provide a pleasant environment for citizens and farmers.

He emphasized that the attendance of officers and staff must be ensured at all costs, and an effective monitoring system should be adopted in this regard so that there is no negligence in public service delivery.

Later, the Deputy Commissioner also visited the nursery of the Agriculture (Extension) Department, where he was given a detailed briefing on ongoing agricultural activities. He inspected new and improved varieties of agricultural and fruit plants and directed that the provision of high-quality and healthy plants to farmers must be ensured.
