DC inspects Central Library

BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Apr, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Syed Hassan Raza paid a detailed visit to the Central Library, where he reviewed the ongoing cleanliness, renovation, and administrative arrangements.

During the visit, he inspected various sections of the library and directed the concerned officers to ensure a clean, peaceful, and high-quality environment for visiting citizens and students.

On the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner stated that the Central Library held the status of an academic and literary hub, where a large number of citizens, students, and researchers visit daily for study, adding that therefore, cleanliness and the provision of excellent facilities must be ensured at all costs.

He conducted a thorough review of internal arrangements, including cleanliness, furniture organization, proper lighting, and other facilities.

He also inspected the library’s lawn and instructed the relevant staff to further improve arrangements for timely grass cutting, plant maintenance, and overall cleanliness so that visitors can enjoy a pleasant environment.

The Deputy Commissioner also examined the tough tiles being installed along the outer wall of the library and directed that the quality of work be maintained. He emphasized that the beauty and cleanliness of the city are top priorities of the district administration, and no negligence in this regard will be tolerated.

He further instructed the concerned authorities to ensure the provision of the best possible facilities for library visitors and to regularly monitor all administrative matters so that quality services can be delivered to the public.
