DC Kohat chairs meeting to finalize Eid-ul-Fitr arrangements, stresses cleanliness and smooth power supply

KOHAT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Mar, 2026) A meeting to review arrangements for Eid-ul-Fitr was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Kohat on Monday, with officers of the district administration and representatives of all relevant departments participating.

During the session, the Deputy Commissioner issued clear directives to officials of all Tehsil Municipal Administrations (TMAs) and the Water and Sanitation Services Company Kohat to ensure comprehensive cleanliness across the district during the festive days. He emphasized that maintaining a hygienic environment is essential to facilitate citizens and create a pleasant atmosphere for celebrations.

Furthermore, the Deputy Commissioner instructed authorities of Peshawar Electric Supply Company to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply throughout the Eid holidays. Officers of other departments were also directed to perform their responsibilities efficiently and proactively so that maximum public relief could be provided.

Besides reviewing the preparations, the Deputy Commissioner continued his routine of meeting citizens at his office to listen to their concerns. He directed the concerned officials to address public complaints promptly, ensuring effective service delivery and greater convenience for the residents of Kohat.
