DC orders to ensure transparency in development projects

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th Apr, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Sargodha Hussain Ahmed Raza Chaudhry on Thursday ordered the concerned departments to ensure transparency in development projects and warned that any negligence or unnecessary delay would not be tolerated.

He issued orders while chairing a review meeting regarding the progress of ongoing development projects being executed by the Buildings Department in the district.

The meeting was attended by SE FESCO, Deputy Director Development, Executive Engineer Buildings, CEO DHA, CEO District education Authority, In-charge DDMA, and District Officer Special Education.

During the briefing, officials informed the meeting that work is currently underway on a total of 24 development schemes, including 10 ongoing and 14 new projects. Overall, approximately 70 percent of the work on these schemes has been completed so far.

The meeting also reviewed in detail the pace of work, construction quality, and utilization of funds for the ongoing projects.

The DC directed to ensure timely completion of all schemes while maintaining high construction standards.
