DC reviews Farid Gate beautification project

BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Mar, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Bahawalpur Syed Hassan Raza visited Farid Gate to inspect the ongoing beautification and development project, reviewing various components and receiving a detailed briefing from officials on its progress.

During the visit, he directed the authorities to accelerate the pace of work to ensure timely completion. He stressed that high construction standards must be maintained at all stages, warning that no compromise on quality would be tolerated.

The Deputy Commissioner noted that Farid Gate holds significant historical and cultural importance for the city, and emphasized that its original identity must be preserved alongside the beautification efforts.

He added that the project would not only enhance the visual appeal of the area but also provide citizens with a more pleasant and welcoming public space.

Syed Hassan Raza expressed confidence that upon completion, the site would emerge as an attractive urban landmark, offering residents and visitors a place to relax while appreciating the city’s heritage.
