DC urges faster implementation of “Suthra Punjab” campaign

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Apr, 2026) The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Hussain Ahmad Raza Chaudhry on Wednesday directed the authorities concerned to further improve the effectiveness of cleanliness operations and ensure timely disposal of waste across Sargodha.

According to a spokesperson,DC issued these instructions during a visit to various parts of the city to review sanitation arrangements under the Suthra Punjab campaign. Rana Muhammad Abu Bakar, along with other officials accompanied him.

During the visit,DC inspected Chak No.37 North,Mitha Lak Chowk and Muazzamabad road,assessing overall cleanliness conditions,waste collection mechanisms and the performance of field staff.

He stressed that ensuring a clean and healthy environment for citizens remained a top priority of the district administration, warning that negligence in sanitation duties would not be tolerated.

DC Hussain also directed field staff to ensure regular attendance and instructed officials to keep machinery fully operational to enhance service efficiency.

Emphasizing the need for consistent oversight,he ordered daily monitoring of sanitation performance to achieve improved results under the campaign.
