Deputy Commissioner (DC) Captain (Retired) Nadeem Nasir has visited the Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital in Dijkot and reviewed the provision of healthcare services to ensure better medical facilities for the patients

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Apr, 2026) Deputy Commissioner (DC) Captain (Retired) Nadeem Nasir has visited the Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital in Dijkot and reviewed the provision of healthcare services to ensure better medical facilities for the patients.

Assistant Commissioner (AC) Saddar Dr Zulqarnain accompanied him during visit.

During inspection, the Deputy Commissioner checked various sections of the hospital and focused on the availability of medicines, cleanliness arrangements and overall service delivery. He directed the hospital administration to further improve the standard of healthcare services.

He also checked the attendance and performance of doctors and paramedical staff. He stressed the importance of punctuality, professionalism and dedication to the duty. He warned that negligence in service delivery would not be tolerated and strict action would be taken against those found absent or underperforming.

The Deputy Commissioner met with patients admitted in different wards and inquired about the quality of treatment and facilities being provided to them. The patients shared their feedback regarding medical care, cleanliness and staff behavior.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that all available resources are being utilized to ensure the provision of best possible healthcare facilities.

He emphasized that improving patient care and ensuring access to essential medicines is top priority of the district administration.

He further directed the hospital management to maintain high standards of hygiene and ensure uninterrupted availability of medicines and medical equipment so that the patients do not face any inconvenience.
