Dera Police recover five stolen motorcycles, arrest suspects

Dera Ismail Khan, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Apr, 2026) Police in Dera Ismail Khan have arrested three suspects allegedly involved in theft and robbery and recovered five stolen motorcycles during a successful operation, officials said on Friday.

According to a police spokesman, the action was carried out on the directives of District Police Officer Ziauddin Ahmed under the supervision of SP City Muhammad Nauman. DSP Suburb Circle Kashif Sattar and SHO Shorkot led the raid.

During the operation, police arrested three suspects identified as Wasim a resident of Gomal; Arslan alias Anu, son of Muhammad Rafiq, a resident of Basti Darbar Wali Mandhran Kalan and Ali Muhammad alias Juma Gul currently residing in Parova.

Police recovered five Honda 125 motorcycles of different models from the possession of the accused, which had reportedly been snatched during robbery incidents. The suspects were taken into custody and further investigation is underway.

The recovered motorcycles were later handed over to their rightful owners, who expressed appreciation for the police’s efforts.

A police spokesman reiterated that operations against criminal elements would continue to ensure public safety in the district.
