Development schemes being expedited for early completion: Commissioner

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Apr, 2026) Divisional Commissioner Madam Musarrat Jabeen said on Sunday that public welfare

and development schemes were being expedited for their early completion across the

division by ensuring full transparency.

Chairing a meeting, she directed to accelerate construction work on certain schemes

and stressed that all ongoing development projects should be completed within the

current fiscal year while maintaining transparency at all costs.

She directed that officers of relevant departments must personally monitor construction

progress at sites and ensure that no project remains pending, adding that she would also

visit projects positively to review progress firsthand.

Director Development Asif Chaudhry informed the meeting that as many as 374 schemes

in different sectors were being completed across the division.

Deputy Commissioner Faisalabad Capt (R) Nadeem Nasir and officers of various

departments responsible for execution of development programs were present in the

meeting while deputy commissioners of other districts joined it via video link and briefed

the participants on progress of various schemes.
