DG visits LDA city

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th Jun, 2026) Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Director General Tahir Farooq

on Sunday visited the LDA City and reviewed the development works

there.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) and Chief Engineer LDA

accompanied him. On the occasion, Director LDA City, Project Director

and the Director of Land Acquisition (LAC) gave a briefing and informed

that development work was underway on LDA City Structure Plan Road.

The LAC Director briefed and said that work was underway to position

more blocks of LDA City.

The LDA DG welcomed the increase in house construction in LDA City

and said that provision of basic facilities should be ensured to citizens

living in LDA City.

He directed to expedite the development work in the scheme and resolve

the issues.

On this occasion, the LDA DG along with the Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue)

also reviewed the land acquisition process of village Toor Warraich and visited

the One Window Cell established for land acquisition of village Toor Warraich.

He inquired from the citizens about the issues faced in the land acquisition process

and said that full assistance and prompt payment would be ensured to citizens

in completing the documents.

The LDA DG said that for the convenience of citizens, LDA City and Revenue

staff would be present on duty at the One Window Cell during office hours.
