Security forces killed 27 terrorists in North Waziristan operations

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also paid tribute to the security forces.

Security forces have killed 27 Fitna al-Khawarij terrorists in Miran Shah area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s North Waziristan district over past 72 hours.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces engaged multiple khawarij locations in the area in continuation of a series of intelligence-based operations in the district.

“Following intense fierce exchanges of fire, in the last seventy-two hours, 27 khawarij belonging to India-sponsored Fitna al-Khawarij have been sent to hell,” said ISPR.

ISPR stated that Security forces also recovered weapons and ammunition from the killed India-sponsored terrorists, who was actively involved in several terrorist activities and the target killing of innocent civilians.

President Asif Ali Zardari praised the professionalism and effective strategy of the security forces for eliminating 27 alleged Indian-backed khawarij during operations carried out over the past 72 hours.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also paid tribute to the security forces for the successful operations in North Waziristan, saying the nation takes pride in its brave soldiers.
