DIG Kohat inspects check posts, appreciates police performance

KOHAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Apr, 2026) Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Kohat Region Irfan Tariq, accompanied by DSP City Kohat Ejaz Khan and SHO Cantonment Police Station Ayatullah Khan, paid a detailed visit to various check posts in the district.

According to APP correspondent, the DIG reviewed the ongoing construction work, issuing directives to further improve both the quality and pace of development.

He also met with police personnel on duty, commending their performance and listening to the challenges they face in the line of duty.

Irfan Tariq lauded the morale, dedication, and professionalism of

the force, emphasizing that the protection of citizens and maintenance of peace remain the foremost priorities of the police.

He assured that all available resources are being utilized to strengthen law enforcement and ensure public safety across the region.
