DIG, SSP visit A-Section Police Station to review ongoing improvements, overall conditions

NAWABSHAH, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th May, 2026) Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Police, Shaheed Benazirabad Range, Faisal Bashir Memon, accompanied by Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Nawabshah, visited A-Section Police Station in Nawabshah city to review ongoing improvements and overall conditions of the facility.

During visit, DIG conducted a detailed inspection of the police station, including building structure, cleanliness, record room, lock-up, and public service areas.

He directed concerned officers to upgrade the station in line with modern requirements and ensure the provision of better facilities for citizens. Speaking on the occasion, DIG Faisal Bashir Memon said that police stations serve as the first step toward justice for public, and therefore, improving their condition and making them more citizen-friendly remains a top priority.

He emphasized the need to maintain cleanliness, discipline, and professional conduct to strengthen public trust in police. Expressing satisfaction over the ongoing renovation work, DIG instructed that the work be completed promptly without compromising on quality.

Later DIG met with police staff, listened to their concerns, and issued necessary instructions to enhance performance in the discharge of their duties.
