DIKhan administration improves flyover link road to facilitate commuters

Dera Ismail Khan, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Jul, 2026) Acting on the directives of Deputy Commissioner Dera Ismail Khan and with a focus on public convenience, Assistant Commissioner Dr. Muhammad Hamid Siddiq has ordered improvement works on the link road adjoining the city flyover to ensure smoother traffic flow and safer commuting.

Following the directives, the concerned department deployed heavy machinery to level and grade both sides of the link road, improving its condition and facilitating the movement of vehicles and pedestrians.

The Assistant Commissioner also directed the relevant authorities to ensure regular water sprinkling on the road to suppress dust, reduce environmental pollution, and provide a safer and more comfortable travel experience for the public.

Dr. Hamid Siddiq said the district administration remained committed to improving public infrastructure and ensuring the provision of essential civic facilities.

He added that development and rehabilitation works were being closely monitored to ensure their timely completion in accordance with the required quality standards.
