Director IT orders software upgrades across Islamabad Police offices

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Jul, 2026) Director Information Technology (IT) Atif Abbas chaired a meeting to review the performance of digital systems and directed the early completion of software upgradation and system improvement initiatives across Islamabad Police offices.

A police official told APP on Monday that the meeting reviewed the functioning of software applications currently being used in various police offices and discussed measures to enhance their efficiency and reliability.

Atif Abbas directed the officers concerned to expedite the renewal and upgradation of software, improve the overall performance of IT systems and ensure the timely completion of assigned targets.

He emphasized that modern, reliable and efficient digital systems are essential for improving administrative performance, strengthening service delivery and enhancing the overall operational efficiency of Islamabad Police./APP-rzr-mkz
