FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Apr, 2026) Director Livestock Dr Haidar Ali Khan reviewed veterinary services and development projects during a detailed visit to Jhang and directed livestock officials to ensure quality service delivery and timely completion of ongoing schemes.
During the visit, he inspected Civil Veterinary Hospital 466-JB and Civil Veterinary Hospital Kot Lakhana, where he examined availability of medicines, cleanliness arrangements, record management and overall service delivery at the facilities.
He also reviewed progress on recovery of dues under Punjab Livestock Card initiative and directed the staff to further improve the recovery process through effective measures.
He instructed the concerned officers to ensure provision of quality veterinary services to the public at all costs as negligence in discharge of duties would not be tolerated.
Later, the Director Livestock visited the under-construction diagnostic laboratory project in Jhang district and assessed the pace and quality of construction work.
He directed the authorities to complete the project within stipulated timeframe without compromising on standards.
Subsequently, a meeting was held at the office of Additional Director Livestock Jhang with all deputy directors through an online Zoom session, where detailed review of Punjab Livestock Card recovery and other departmental matters was conducted.
Dr Haidar Ali Khan emphasized the need to further improve recovery under Livestock Card program, strengthen field monitoring and enhance coordination with livestock farmers to achieve assigned targets.
He said that teamwork and a strong sense of responsibility were imperative for the success of government initiatives, reaffirming his commitment to further improve livestock services in the district and ensure timely completion of development projects.
