District administration directs early disposal of pending revenue cases

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Jul, 2026) The district administration has directed revenue officials to expedite the disposal of all pending court cases and official references to improve public service delivery and ensure transparency in revenue affairs.

The directions were issued by Assistant Commissioner Sillanwali Chaudhry Akmal while chairing a weekly performance review meeting attended by revenue field staff on Thursday.

The meeting reviewed the performance of revenue officials, recovery of government dues, and progress on pending cases across the tehsil. Participants also assessed the status of revenue record recoveries.

The meeting further reviewed cases pending before local revenue courts as well as the offices of the Deputy Commissioner, Commissioner and Ombudsman. Revenue officials from their respective circles briefed the meeting on their performance, operational challenges and measures being taken to achieve recovery targets.

Speaking on the occasion, the Assistant Commissioner said providing timely relief to the public and ensuring transparency in revenue matters were among the top priorities of the Punjab government. He warned that negligence or unnecessary delays in public service delivery would not be tolerated.
