District compensation committee reviews relief measures for Quetta train blast victims

QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th May, 2026) An emergency meeting of the District Compensation Committee was convened under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Muhammad Anwar Kakar to assess the situation of victims of the recent Quetta train blast.

During the meeting, complete lists of the martyrs and injured were presented by relevant departments. The committee reviewed the medical facilities being provided to the injured and discussed possible assistance measures for the affected families.

Initial data regarding damage to vehicles, buildings, and other property caused by the blast was also shared. The committee directed concerned departments to prepare a comprehensive damage assessment report at the earliest so that timely relief and compensation could be extended to victims.

The meeting reaffirmed the commitment that all affected families will be fully supported, with government institutions working in close coordination to ensure effective relief and rehabilitation efforts.
