District Health Officer Larkana Immunization measles prevention vaccinated among children

LARKANA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th May, 2026) The District Health Officer Larkana, Dr. Shaukat Ali Abro, organized a health initiative in various villages of the katcha area of Dokri Taluka district Larkana on Thursday, including Village Muhammad Mithal Kalhoro and surrounding areas, where approximately 550 children were vaccinated as part of routine immunization and measles prevention efforts.

Alongside this, a free medical camp was established where children and adults suffering from cough, chest diseases, weakness and other illnesses were also provided treatment.

On this occasion, the team of doctors appealed to parents and villagers to ensure that their children complete the full course of vaccinations to protect them from dangerous diseases.

They also advised people to seek treatment from qualified doctors or nearby government hospitals instead of unqualified practitioners and quacks in case of illness.

The medical camp was also attended by Dr. Mukhtiar Channa, Dr. Mujeeb Wadho, Dr. Irfan Sheikh, Sanaullah Sangi and vaccinators on behalf of the District Health Office.

Patients who received treatment at the camp appreciated the efforts of the Health Department Larkana officials and doctors and expressed their gratitude.
