Dogs attack 3 children in Alpuri

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Jun, 2026) Three school going children were injured in attack of street dogs in Wahab Khel Kotke area of Alpuri on Thursday.

According to details, three children that were on way to school sustained injuries when street dogs attacked them in Wahab Khel area. The injured children were immediately rushed to District Headquarters Hospital Alpuri where they were administered anti rabies vaccine. The condition of all the children were stated to be normal.

Meanwhile, local population has demanded of authorities to take immediate action against growing number of dogs that were seen roaming in the city.

People feared that some of the dogs may be rabid and endanger lives of people living in the area.

Locals said that about 37 persons were attacked by street dogs during last week. They suggested major operation to eliminate these dogs adding that children are refusing to go school while people have limited their movement in night due to incidents of dogs attack.
