DPM, Wang Yi discuss bilateral relations, regional developments

CHOLPON-ATA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Jul, 2026) Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Friday met with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on the sidelines of the SCO Council of Foreign Ministers Meeting here.

The two leaders held a warm and productive exchange of views on bilateral relations, regional developments, and cooperation within multilateral forums.

Deputy Prime Minister Dar thanked Foreign Minister Wang Yi for appreciating Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts for regional peace and stability, as highlighted during his remarks at the SCO Council of Foreign Ministers.

Foreign Minister Wang Yi conveyed best wishes to Pakistan for its upcoming Chairmanship of the SCO Council of Heads of State (CHS) and hosting of the SCO Summit in 2027.
