DPO Attock chairs crime meeting, orders early disposal of murder cases

ATTOCK, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Mar, 2026) District Police Officer (DPO) Attock, Sardar Mavarhan Khan, chaired a crime meeting at the DPO Office Attock on Saturday. The meeting was attended by the SDPO of Sadr Circle, SHOs and other concerned officers.

During the meeting, the DPO reviewed the overall crime situation in the district, police performance and the progress on cases under investigation. He directed the officers to ensure the early disposal of serious cases, particularly murder cases, on a priority basis.

The DPO also issued instructions to further intensify and make more effective the crackdown against proclaimed offenders, drug dealers and violators of the Tenancy Act.

Furthermore, he made it clear that crimes against women and children would not be tolerated under any circumstances. At the conclusion of the meeting, the DPO stressed the need to further improve the patrolling system in order to ensure the protection of the lives and property of the public.
