DPO reviews Police Lines arrangements

GUJRAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th May, 2026) District Police Officer (DPO) Akhtar Farooq visited Police Lines Gujrat and inspected various branches and departments to review administrative arrangements, cleanliness and welfare facilities

for police personnel.

According to police sources, the DPO inspected the quarter guard, Moharar office, armoury, dispensary, tailor shop, uniform store, police wireless control room, MT office, anti-riot store, miscellaneous store and stable during his detailed visit.

He also checked cleanliness arrangements and food quality at Police Lines and shared a meal with police personnel. The DPO reviewed residential barracks and inspected the under-construction martyrs’ memorial and ladies hostel.

During the visit, he directed the relevant officers to complete the ongoing construction work within the stipulated timeline.
