DPO Tank urges public to ensure peaceful Eid celebrations

TANK, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Mar, 2026) District Police Officer Tank Abdul Samad Khan has urged upon the citizens to cooperate with law enforcement in maintaining peace and order across the district during Eid ul Fitr.

In a public message ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr, the DPO emphasized that ensuring a safe and secure environment during Eid and in routine days remains a top priority. He appealed to residents to strictly avoid aerial firing and the use of firecrackers or any explosive materials.

He further directed citizens not to use tinted windows in vehicles and to refrain from dangerous activities such as one-wheeling and underage driving.

The DPO also advised against gathering in large crowds on roads and public places for dancing or playing loud music, as such actions can disrupt public order.

Additionally, he cautioned the public against taking photographs or recording videos of sensitive locations without prior permission.

Abdul Samad Khan made it clear that strict legal action would be taken against those found violating these directives. He asked the people of Tank to act responsibly and support the police in ensuring a peaceful and secure environment during Eid celebrations.
