RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Apr, 2026) Commissioner Rawalpindi Engineer Aamir Khattak on Thursday said that more than 100 examination centres were being monitored live through a newly established command and control centre to ensure transparency in the examination system.
Chairing a review meeting on administrative and development affairs of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi, he said the initiative was in line with the Punjab chief minister’s vision of visible transparency and provision of quality education.
He said the command and control centre would enable effective surveillance of sensitive examination centres through CCTV cameras, while additional cameras had also been installed across the board campus to improve security amid the prevailing situation.
The commissioner said that a modern front desk had been set up at the board office to facilitate visitors and provide timely guidance, improving public service delivery and access to information.
He added that dedicated facilities, including separate washrooms, ramps for persons with disabilities, and a designated prayer and rest area for women, had been established to enhance accessibility and convenience at the campus.
Highlighting administrative reforms, the commissioner said that the implementation of e-FOAS had improved the efficiency and speed of official processes, while cleanliness and overall environment of the board premises had also been upgraded.
He said strict monitoring of attendance and punctuality had led to improved discipline among staff.
The meeting, held at the Commissioner Office, was attended by Additional Commissioner Consolidation Dr. Mansoor Ahmed Khan, Controller of Examinations and other relevant officials.
