Education ministry launches 'Roadmap for Quality Education and Innovation' for FDE to enhance student achievements

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Apr, 2026) The Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training (MoFE&PT), in collaboration with the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE), has launched the “FDE Roadmap for Quality Education and Innovation,” incorporating input from key stakeholders and education experts to address challenges hindering student's achievement.

According to the statement issued on Monday, the roadmap is built around five pillars including Policy and Governance, Improving Student Learning Outcomes, Enabling Learning Environment and Resource Equity, Professional Development for Teachers & Enhancing Digital and Innovative Learning.

"The roadmap will act as a guide to transition from fragmented initiatives to a coherent, outcome-based structured framework," it emphasized.

"It is a significant and decisive step towards improving the quality of education across public schools in Islamabad," it added.
