Eid ul Azha prayers observed in Sargodha

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th May, 2026) Eid-ul-Adha prayers were observed in the Sargodha district here on Wednesday.

According to a spokesperson, a large number of people were gathered in the different mosques of the district offered their Eid Ul Azha prayers.

On the occasion district police had made fool proof security arrangements during Eid prayers as at least 1300 policemen were deployed on security duty.

The security measures were being monitored through CCTV cameras and special drones.

District Police Officer (DPO) Sargodha,Muhammad Sohaib Ashraf himself remained in the field and monitor security arrangements during Eid Ul Azha prayer gatherings.

DPO said on the occasion that maintaining law and order and peace during important religious events was one of the top priorities of the Sargodha Police and no negligence will be tolerated in this regard.
