The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Rawalpindi on Friday registered cases against eight candidates caught cheating during ongoing examinations as part of strict enforcement of a zero-tolerance policy
RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Apr, 2026) The Board of Intermediate and Secondary education Rawalpindi on Friday registered cases against eight candidates caught cheating during ongoing examinations as part of strict enforcement of a zero-tolerance policy.
Controller of Examinations Tanveer Asghar Awan said that the candidates were caught red-handed at centres in Morgah, Chak Beli Khan and Jatha Hathial, and their cases had been referred to the board’s discipline branch for further action.
The crackdown is being carried out under the vision of Maryam Nawaz Sharif to ensure a transparent and merit-based examination system across the province.
Officials said a command and control centre, activated under the supervision of Commissioner and Board Chairman Engineer Aamir Khattak, was monitoring examination centres in real time, helping curb malpractice.
