Events held to celebrate first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq

BAHAWALPUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th Apr, 2026) The Punjab Council of the Arts, Bahawalpur Division, organised a grand and dignified ceremony at Rashidia Auditorium to mark the first anniversary (Youm-e-Tasees) of “Battle of Truth – Bunyanum Marsoos.” The event drew participation from prominent political, social, and academic figures of the city, who highlighted the national and historical significance of the occasion. Speakers emphasized that “Bunyan Marsoos” has played a significant role in promoting national unity, cohesion, and resilience. They described it as a bright chapter in history that further strengthened the bonds of patriotism and collective solidarity among the people. Rich tributes were paid to the sacrifices of the Pakistan Armed Forces, acknowledging their unwavering commitment to the defense and security of the country.

Director Arts Council Dr. Nasir Hameed in his address, stated that the Arts Council will continue its efforts to promote national harmony, patriotism, and positive thinking.

He reaffirmed the commitment to organizing such events regularly to instill national awareness among the youth. At the conclusion of the ceremony, participants raised spirited slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad” and “Long Live Pakistan Armed Forces,” creating an atmosphere filled with patriotic fervor.

Another ceremony titled “Battle of Truth” was held at Government S.E. Graduate College Bahawalpur to instill values of patriotism, sacrifice, and the distinction between right and wrong among students. The event was presided over by Principal Dr. Rana Muhammad Imran Arshad, who highlighted the vital role of the armed forces in national defense. He stated that the strength and security of any country depend on a strong military and paid tribute to the professionalism and sacrifices of the Pakistan Army. During the event, students delivered speeches and presented national songs, expressing their love for the country and reinforcing the spirit of unity and patriotism.
