Excise deptt issues notice: 100% physical check required for new vehicle registration cards

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd May, 2026) The Islamabad Excise and Taxation Department on Sunday has issued a public notice for citizens applying for new vehicle registration, making it clear that physical inspection was required in all cases before registration cards are issued.

According to the department, applicants who have not yet completed the physical check of their vehicles should do so without delay. Officials said the inspection process is necessary to verify vehicle details and complete the registration procedure.

The department stated that registration cards would only be issued after the physical verification of vehicles.

Delays in inspection may result in delays in receiving registration documents.

Citizens have been advised to visit the relevant Excise office and complete the inspection process as soon as possible. The department aims to process applications and issue registration cards once all requirements are fulfilled.
