ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 7th Jun, 2026) Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Immigration officials at Islamabad International Airport offloaded an Afghan national bound for Germany after detecting a fake travel record and evidence of suspected dual identity during immigration clearance.
An official told APP on Sunday that passenger Muheezullah Khan was intercepted after a Pakistani departure stamp on his passport was found to be fake, while no corresponding travel record was available in the Integrated Border Management System (IBMS).
The official said further scrutiny of the passenger's mobile phone led to the recovery of a NADRA-related document, revealing that he had previously travelled abroad using a Pakistani passport.

The passenger was subsequently offloaded and handed over to FIA Anti Human Trafficking Circle (AHTC) Islamabad for further legal proceedings and comprehensive inquiry.
The official said mobile phones, travel documents, travel records and other relevant evidence had been taken into custody as part of the investigation.
