ATTOCK, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Jun, 2026) Attock Police on Wednesday arrested five individuals after a disturbing video surfaced on social media showing two men being allegedly abducted, tied with ropes, and subjected to brutal physical torture in a village of the district.
According to a police spokesperson, the incident took place in Village Haji Shah, where the accused, led by Muzamil Munir, allegedly abducted two local residents, Asif and Faizan, on suspicion of theft. The victims were reportedly taken to a cattle enclosure, where they were confined, tied up with ropes, and severely beaten with sticks and iron rods.
Police said the suspects also recorded videos of the assault, allegedly attempting to force the victims into confessing to the alleged theft.

Acting swiftly, Attock Police registered a case against the accused under Sections 365 (kidnapping), 452 (house trespass), 342 (wrongful confinement), 506 (criminal intimidation), 292, and 149 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC). All five suspects were arrested, and further investigation is underway. Police officials reiterated that no individual would be allowed to take the law into their own hands and that strict legal action would be taken against those involved in such acts.
