Four accused, including two police officials, booked in marriage hall owner kidnapping case

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Mar, 2026) SSP Hyderabad Shahzeb Chachar took notice of the alleged kidnapping for ransom incident of the owner of a private marriage hall. A case has been registered against the accused and efforts have been intensified to arrest them.

According to a police spokesperson, the kidnapping of Nasir Ali, the owner of a private wedding hall, took place on March 10, 2026. The complainant has named four people, including two police officials, in the incident, who are accused of forcibly kidnapping the abductee and releasing him after collecting a ransom of Rs 2 million from him.

The SSP has ordered immediate legal action and the arrest of those involved. Following his directives, the Hali road police have registered a case under relevant sections against the accused under Crime No. 74/2026 on the complaint of victim Nasir Ali.

According to the police, the suspects are expected to be arrested soon and all those involved in the incident will be brought to justice.
