Four drug suppliers held, over 6kg drugs seized during crackdown

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Apr, 2026) Rawalpindi police have intensified crackdown against drug trafficking, following arrest of four drug suppliers and recovered more than 6 kilogram of drugs in separate operations here on Friday.

According to police spokesperson, Wah Saddar police arrested drug pusher and recovered 1.8 kg of drugs from his possession.

Similarly, Jatli police arrested another supplier with 1.6 kg of drug while Naseerabad police seized 1.4 kg drugs from drug dealer during operation.

In a separate raid, R.A Bazaar police apprehended drug smuggler and recovered 1.4 kg of drugs.

Police have registered separate cases against all arrested individuals and stated that all available resources are being utilized to eliminate the menace of drugs from the region.
