Gas cylinder blast in North Karachi wedding hall leaves 4 burned

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Mar, 2026) At least four people were burned and injured when a powerful gas cylinder exploded inside a wedding hall in North Karachi, triggering a fire that spread quickly and caused panic among the guests.

According to rescue sources, the exact cause of the gas cylinder explosion is not yet known, local media channel reported.

Rescue teams rushed to the wedding hall immediately after the blast, controlling the flames and evacuating guests to safety.

The injured, suffering from burns and shock were shifted to the Civil Burns Ward, where doctors treated them promptly. Officials confirmed that all of the victims are now out of danger.

Police have launched an investigation into the incident to determine the cause of the blast and whether any safety violations contributed to the accident.
