GCWUS organizes Haemophilia awareness seminar

SIALKOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st May, 2026) The Blood Donation Society of Government College Women University Sialkot, (GCWUS) in collaboration with Diya Welfare Organization, successfully organized a Haemophilia awareness seminar and donation drive to promote awareness about bleeding disorders and encourage community support for haemophilia patients.

As per release of the varsity, the seminar featured an insightful session by Dr Sadia Malik, Advisor Blood Donation Society, along with representatives from Diya Welfare Organization, highlighting the importance of early diagnosis, medical care, and public awareness. Students, faculty members, and university staff actively participated in the donation drive and generously contributed donations, reflecting the spirit of compassion, social responsibility, and community service.
