The gold prices in Pakistan increased by 11,100 per tola.
According to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, prices of gold increased sharply in the local market on Wednesday, with 24 karat gold per tola rising by Rs 11,100 to settle at Rs 488,962 compared to Rs 477,862 on the previous trading day.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold surged by Rs 9,517 to Rs 419,206 from Rs 409,689, whereas 10 grams of 22 karat gold jumped by Rs 8,725 to Rs 384,286 against Rs 375,561.
In the international market, the price of gold went up by $111 to $4,666 per ounce from $4,555.
Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola surge by Rs 223 to Rs 8,072 from Rs 7,849, while the price of 10 grams of silver also increase by Rs 191 to Rs 6,920 from Rs 6,729.
The price of silver in the international market increased by $2.23 to $75.88 per ounce from $73.65.
