QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th May, 2026) Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhail, addressing a grand ceremony in Quetta to mark the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq, declared that the victory was not only a military triumph but also a symbol of Pakistan’s national unity and resilience.
Jaffar Mandokhail addressing participants that the celebration represents a torch that will illuminate the path of our future, underscoring that Pakistan’s historic success strengthens both national solidarity and the unwavering spirit of the armed forces.
He said that Pakistan’s forces prevailed through courage, strategy, and steadfastness, proving the strength of a united and rising nation.
The ceremony was attended by Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti, Corps Commander Balochistan, Lieutenant General Rahat Naseem Ahmed Khan, Leader of the Opposition Mir Younus Zehri, Speaker of the Balochistan Assembly Capt. (R) Abdul Khaliq Achakzai, provincial ministers, legislators, and senior civil and military officials. Guests from fifty countries, including women participants, also joined the celebrations.
Jaffar Mandokhail praised the leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, crediting him with elevating Pakistan’s pride and integrity.
<?php /*?> <?php */?>He warned that after suffering defeat, the enemy has resorted to conspiracies and proxy tactics aimed at undermining national unity, but assured that Pakistan will not bow to propaganda and conspiracies. “We defeated India on the battlefield, and we will defeat these proxies as well,” he said.
The Governor stressed the importance of instilling patriotism among the youth, noting that the bravery of the armed forces should inspire them to become devoted Pakistanis. He envisioned a bright future for the country, pointing to Pakistan’s role in peace efforts with the United States and Iran, and highlighting the transformative potential of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). He said its completion would make Pakistan a global hub of trade and economic activity, positioning it as the “Asian Tiger.”
Jaffar Mandokhail congratulated the Chief Minister on organizing the successful program, which paid tribute to the martyrs and celebrated Pakistan’s decisive victory in Marka-e-Haq.
