Governor KP expresses condolences over demise of minister’s mother; visits Golra Sharif

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Apr, 2026) Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Sunday expressed deep sorrow over the demise of the mother of Federal Minister for Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety, Syed Imran Ahmed Shah.

In his condolence message, the Governor prayed for the departed soul to attain a high place in Jannat-ul-Firdous and extended his sympathies to the bereaved family. He also prayed for patience and strength for the grieving relatives.

Later, the Governor visited Golra Sharif where he offered condolences on the death of Pir Syed Mehr Faridul Haq Gilani, son of renowned spiritual figure Pir Syed Moeenul Haq Gilani and nephew of Pir Syed Qutab ul Haq.

He met with the bereaved family and expressed heartfelt sympathy, praying for the elevation of the deceased’s ranks and for fortitude for the family members.

Speaking on the occasion, the Governor said that the religious and spiritual services of the late Pir Syed Mehr Faridul Haq Gilani would always be remembered. He also offered Fateha for the departed soul and remarked that the entire nation stands with the grieving family in this difficult time.
