Governor Kundi spends second day of Eid-ul-Azha with people in Dera

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th May, 2026) Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi on Thursday spent the second day of Eid ul Azha with residents of different areas of Dera Ismail Khan, and met with public delegations and listened to issues being faced by the local communities.

The people from various localities, including political leaders, elders and notable personalities, visited Kundi Model Farm and exchanged Eid greetings with the governor.

During the meetings, the delegations informed him about problems and development needs in their respective areas.

Speaking on the occasion, Governor Faisal Karim Kundi said the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has always believed in public welfare and development, adding that practical efforts would be continued to improve living standards and provide better facilities to the people.

He said several mega development projects would soon be launched in the Dera region, which would help bring the area at par with developed regions of the country.

The governor also highlighted welfare initiatives, particularly the Benazir Income Support Programme, describing it as an effective step for the welfare and uplift of underprivileged segments of society.

He reaffirmed his commitment to addressing public issues and promoting development across the region.
