Governor offers Eid-ul-Azha prayers, prays for progress of country

QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th May, 2026) Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhel on Wednesday offered Eid-ul-Azha prayers at the Governor House mosque in Quetta. Provincial Minister Muhammad Khan Lehri, provincial secretaries, Advocate General Adnan and other senior officials also offered Eid prayers at the Governor House.

They prayed for the progress, security and unity of the Muslim Ummah after Eid prayers.

Later, Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhel congratulated the members of parliament, senior government officials and common citizens on Eid-ul-Azha.

On this occasion, he paid tribute to the security forces and civilian martyrs in the terrorist attack in Chaman Phatak, Quetta, saying that the martyrs are our pride and they have sacrificed their precious lives for the defense and integrity of our beloved homeland Pakistan.

He said that in the current circumstances, we need to further strengthen mutual unity and solidarity.
