Grand wheat flour depot starts functioning in AJK's remote area

MIRPUR (AJK) , (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point news - 3rd Apr, 2026) Fulfilling another promise of the incumbent regime, authorities established Civil Supply Atta Depot in Abbaspur (Khali Darman) to facilitate the local population with the wheat flour at officially fixed subsidized price.

The grand Civil Supply Flour Depot was formally inaugurated by AJK Food, Technical education and KDA Minister Javed Iqbal Badhanvi late Thursday, official sources told APP here late Thursday.

A large number of including the notables participated expressing their full commitment and trust in the welfare policies of the incumbent AJK government with the liberal financial assistance of the Government of Pakistan.

The chief guest, food Minister Javed Iqbal Badhanvi, inaugurated the depot declaring it the manifestation of the welfare policies of tge government throu5implementation of the long-standing demand of the people.

The minister was flanked by ex-Advisor to Ajk government Sardar Amjad Yousaf and other leaders, workers and officials on this occasion.

Addressing the ceremony the minister Javed Badaanvi said the people of the area will be benefited of this great facility.

He said that the government was taking all possible steps towards speedy development and end the deprivations. "Today, we are happy to see the enthusiasm of the people, the people are satisfied with our government, engaged in welfare and development work for the people", he said adding the sitting government was determined to translate the hopes and dreams of the people into reality removing the problems of the people.
